The residence halls offer many opportunities for involvement and leadership. On a weekly basis we offer small and large-scale events, ranging from glow in the dark volleyball, dances, and movie and pizza nights. Housing & Residence Life is also committed to philanthropy. Our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events like Paint the Palouse and Tower Halloween Trick-or-Treat. Giving back participating in our student government helps students meet new people and get involved!
Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a student-led residence hall organization that trains community representatives in advocating for the betterment of their residence hall. All residents have voting rights on hall community fund expenditures and may exercise these rights through RHA. Additionally, RHA is a programming and leadership development group that plans large-scale academic and entertaining programs.
Each residence hall has a community council made up of a President, Vice President, RHA Senator, and Programming Chair. Each community also has a hall/floor representative. These councils plan social activities and work towards improving amenities and services within their communities. Community Councils report to RHA and encourage students to get involved and be a leader while living on campus.
