Lydia Killea - Living Learning Communities Resident Director
I join the Vandal family from a small hometown in central Montana. I received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Montana. I am still a very proud Griz alumnus. From Missoula, my pursuit of graduate school took me to the mountains of northern Arizona. I obtained a Masters of Education in counseling-student affairs. After completing my masters, my pursuit of a career brought me to Moscow. I was drawn to the strong sense of community and opportunity to truly make a difference in students’ lives.
Pride and tradition are two of the most important things that I took away from my undergraduate experience. They are something I try to instill in my students every day because if you’re not passionate about what you are doing then why do it? I challenge the students that I engage with to have a reason or purpose behind everything they do because it is through that purpose that they will achieve success.
