Joe's Closet
Joe's Closet is a free resource for students looking for professional outfits for job interviews or headshot sessions. Donated items are available for free to University of Idaho students.
How It Works
Joe's Closet is open Jan. 17-18, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the ASUI Vandal Student Lounge in the Idaho Student Union Building. Students who are in need of professional clothes may come and take what items they need for their interview, headshots or the Career Fair. The clothes that students select are theirs to keep.
Please limit your selection to two outfits maximum so others can access the items they need.
Do you need a new professional photo? Stop by the event any day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to get a free professional photo, courtesy of Career Services.
Make a Donation
Employees and community members who would like to donate their professional clothes to Joe's Closet can drop off their items in the designated donation bin outside the Pitman Center or at the Dean of Students Office in TLC 232 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. starting Jan. 2, and ending Jan. 15, 2024. Please make sure that all donated items are clean, washed and in wearable condition.

- Dresses
- Skirts
- Blouses
- Ties
- Dress Shirts
- Dress Shoes
- Brief Cases/Professional Bags
Items that will not be accepted:
- Jeans
- T-Shirts
- Shorts
- Undergarments
- Socks
- Flip Flops
- Tennis Shoes
- Sweat Pants/Joggers
- Sports Wear
- Athleisure Wear
- Hats
- Housewares
Please Note: Items that are not chosen by students will be donated to a local charity to make room for new donations.
