Undergraduate Research Opportunities in Idaho Falls

Applications are being accepted through Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, for undergraduate research experiences May 23 through July 29, 2022, at the Center for Advanced Energy Studies in Idaho Falls. Students accepted to the program will work alongside faculty from Idaho’s universities and scientists from the Idaho National Laboratory to contribute to “Advanced Manufacturing for a Sustainable Energy Future.” Read more

Engineering Faculty Receive Program Development Funds

University of Idaho electrical engineering Assistant Professor Yacine Chakhchoukh, Department of Nuclear Engineering and Industrial Management Professor and Chair Indrajit Charit and Idaho Falls Center computer science Assistant Professor Costas Kolias each received $30,000 in collaboration funding for the next four years for projects led by Idaho National Laboratory (INL) researchers.
