International Aspirations Being Fulfilled

Exceptional professors and amazing opportunities for academic and personal growth at U of I are enabling Ayo Kayode-Popoola to succeed in her goals to study international law and work in the development sector in Africa.

“However, I wouldn’t be here without donor’s generous support of international studies students and programs,” she acknowledged. “I am so grateful for the assistance that you have provided me in my quest to attain my educational and life goals.”

In addition to her studies, Kayode-Popoola is a part of the Martin Institute, ASUI, the African Students Association, the CLASS Ambassadors program and also participates in Alternative Service Breaks.

“Scholarships have allowed me to concentrate more on school and on these co-curricular activities, which has highly improved the quality of my education,” she said. “None of it would be possible without gracious donors like you.”
