2025 Small Grain and Grain Legume Report

This report summarizes the performance of winter wheat, spring wheat, winter barley, spring barley, winter pea, spring pea, lentil, and chickpea varieties and advanced breeding lines tested in Extension variety trials conducted in northern Idaho during the 2024–25 crop season. The variety trials were located in cooperators' fields in Idaho, Lewis, Nez Perce, Latah, Benewah, and Boundary Counties and on the University of Idaho Palouse Research, Extension, and Education Center farms in Moscow (Parker Farm) and Genesee (Kambitsch Farm).
