Northern Idaho Alfalfa Variety Testing Report

Thirty-three varieties of alfalfa were field-tested in University of Idaho Extension variety trials conducted in northern Idaho during 2013–2016 crop seasons. The variety trials were located in cooperators' fields at two sites, one each in Lewis and Idaho counties. Results of those trials are in this report, to help producers compare new varieties with widely grown varieties. This information represents crop performance results from specific locations, production practices and environmental conditions.
