Several species of insects (arthropods and gastropods) live in pastures of the Pacific Northwest, but unfortunately many of them can reduce its productivity. This well-illustrated publication describes how an integrated pest management strategy can help you to control their presence in your pasture. Along with identifying common invertebrate pests, the authors detail when and how to scout for and manage each type of insect, whether in a newly planted or established pasture. Citations and hyperlinks for those desiring extra help with chemical management or dealing with wireworms provide a fuller picture for carrying out the recommended strategies.
