4-H Create Art Now

$32 4-H Create Art Now is a 100 plus-page adult helper’s guide to teaching youth (primarily grades 4-8) about creating art — drawing, painting and sculpting — and entrepreneurial strategies. Lessons contain step-by-step directions for each activity and are organized along the lines of the three-step experiential learning model of Do, Reflect and Apply. Wraparound activities give youth the opportunity to gain more experience with and knowledge about community art, exhibiting their work, and the business of art. In addition to maintaining a sketchbook and developing a portfolio, youth will build critical-thinking skills as they learn and create, a take-away whose benefits should last a lifetime.
