Storage Management for Umatilla Russet Potatoes

Umatilla Russet is a potato cultivar that was developed in 1998 for the frozen processing market. Based on three years of research trials conducted at the University of Idaho Kimberly Research and Extension Center, this four-page publication provides storage recommendations and discusses the potato's dormancy length, glucose/sucrose development, fry color, mottling tendency and Fusarium dry rot susceptibility.
