Al Wallace Environmental Engineering Assistantship
The Al Wallace Environmental Engineering Assistantship will be awarded to support students who are enrolled in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Idaho.
Undergraduate Assistantship Details
Award Amount: variable; currently a maximum of $4,750 for one student
Preference shall be given to undergraduate students who demonstrate keen interest in the area of water and wastewater treatment.
Financial need may be considered as well.
Award Requirements
Undergraduate students receiving this award must meet the following qualifications:
- Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) undergraduate student.
- Have an interest in pursuing professional practice in the areas of water and wastewater treatment, including possible graduate studies.
- Engage in wastewater-centered research activities with CEE Environmental Engineering faculty.
- Submit a 200-400 word essay describing your interest in water/wastewater.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
