Scheduling an Advising Appointment
The University of Idaho has adopted VandalStar, an online advising and communication platform for your success. In adopting this platform, we are empowering you to connect with an integrated service network (i.e. advisors, instructors, housing, career services, SSS TRIO, etc.) — all in one place.
It gives you:
- The ability to ask for help when you don’t know where to start
- Main portal for you to schedule appointments online with advisors/faculty/staff
- Set appointment reminders
- Receive feedback from advisors, instructors, and student service units
- View grades
To schedule an appointment, click the "Schedule Appointment" link in the drop-down menu for the desired person or service in the My Success Network or Courses icons. Select what type of appointment you need with this person or service, an appointment reason, and an available day and time for the appointment. Confirm the appointment details, and then you will receive an email to your VandalMail with a confirmation. You can view upcoming appointments on your VandalStar homepage.
