Scheduling an Advising Appointment

The University of Idaho has adopted SlateConnect, an online advising and communication platform for your success. In adopting this platform, we are empowering you to connect with an integrated service network (i.e. advisors, instructors, housing, career services, SSS TRIO, etc.) — all in one place.

It gives you:

  • The ability to ask for help when you don’t know where to start
  • Main portal for you to schedule appointments online with advisors/faculty/staff
  • Get appointment reminders
  • Receive feedback from advisors, instructors, and student service units
  • View grades

To schedule an appointment, click the "Schedule an Appointment" link in your SlateConnect My Success page for the desired person. Select the date and time of the appointment you need with this person. Complete the scheduling form and submit. You will receive an email to your VandalMail with a confirmation. You can view upcoming appointments on your SlateConnect homepage.

1. Click the Schedule an Appointment link below your student overview information for the desired person or service listed.

2. Select the name you would like to schedule next to "Schedule an Appointment With."

3. Select an appointment date Follow the directions above each calendar, if you see more than one, for the type of appointment you need.

4. Select an available time for your appointment.

5. Choose whether you want to meet virtually or in-person, topics you want to discuss and anything else. Then click to submit.
