Community Engagement and Sponsorships
The University of Idaho often sponsors community events or initiatives. Our goal is to pair the U of I experience with other strong brands, increasing the reputation of both entities and building positive engagement within the community. We want to be more than just a name on a sign: We want to bring a bit of ourselves to the event.
Selected sponsorships are chosen based on their alignment with the university's mission and vision, reach and overlap with U of I target audiences.
Getting Started
If you are interested in sponsoring an event, please work with your marketing manager or the marketing team.
How do I get my event sponsored?
If you are an external organization or community looking to have an event or activity sponsored by the University of Idaho, email marketing@uidaho.edu and provide the following information:
- Event or Initiative Title
- Contact Name
- Contact Email
- Contact Phone Number
- Desired Investment ($) Amount
- Message Reach (Event Attendance plus Promotional Reach)

Sponsorships for the upcoming year are selected in October each year. Plan to have your event’s details to the marketing team for review on or before Sept. 1 each year.
