Research skills that power discovery

The undergraduate research certificate gives you the skills and experience to design, conduct and communicate meaningful research — no matter your major. Open to students across the university, this flexible program helps you build a strong foundation in research methods while applying those skills within your chosen discipline.

You’ll complete a combination of core research courses and applied research experiences, gaining hands-on practice with literature review, project design, data collection and analysis, and ethical research conduct. The certificate culminates in evidence of research dissemination, preparing you for graduate study, professional research roles or careers that value critical thinking and problem-solving.
