A career on the course
University of Idaho’s PGA Golf Management program, accredited by the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) of America, is one of only 18 in the nation — and the only one in the Pacific Northwest. By paring this program with your marketing major, you'll gain the skills to promote golf brands, design campaigns and lead marketing efforts for golf courses, events, apparel companies and more.
This program blends core business and marketing strategy with hands-on golf industry experience. You’ll build your marketing toolkit through courses in consumer behavior, brand management, digital strategy and sports promotion while also learning golf instruction, facility operations and event management. Real-world learning happens on U of I’s 18-hole championship course and through required internships with golf professionals and industry partners.
