If you’re passionate about creating more inclusive and equitable learning environments, our 12-credit certificate in culturally responsive pedagogy and universal design is designed for you. Through six online one-credit courses and six additional credits from selected offerings, you’ll explore the barriers underserved communities face in education and learn how to implement practical, impactful solutions.

Financial aid and scholarship opportunities
Financial aid
U of I’s certificate programs are not eligible for financial aid or scholarships on their own. However, students enrolled in a bachelor's or associate degree program may apply their financial aid and scholarships toward a certificate if they are pursuing both simultaneously.

Students in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences have opportunities to connect, lead, and grow through a variety of clubs and organizations.
- Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) — Open to graduate students, GSAC serves as a conduit between EHHS graduate students and the Dean
- Student Ambassadors — Our ambassador team represents the college at events and outreach activities, helping build community and support among current and prospective students.
- Physical Education (PE) Club — Promotes professional growth and networking for students interested in physical education.
- University of Idaho Aspiring Educators — Unites future teachers through service, collaboration and professional development.
- POTATO Club — For students in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy and Pre-Health programs who want to connect and collaborate across disciplines.

Undergraduate certificate application process
Students interested in adding a certificate to their bachelor’s or associate degree program should speak with their academic advisor.
