Write a Check
Please use the instructions above for Writing a Check and identify the person you'd like to honor either on the check memo line or within an included note.

Online
Please use the instructions above for Online and identify the person you'd like to honor either in the In Honor of or In Memory of fields on the giving form.

Payroll Deduction
Please use the instructions above for Payroll Deduction. Note that it is not possible to do just one payment in memory/honor of someone — the entire deduction must be made that way. You'll need to include this information in the email when submitting your payroll deduction form to gifts@uidaho.edu.

Endowments are a wonderful way to honor someone and leave a permanent legacy. Endowments start at $25,000 and generate an annual impact that will continue to support you or your honoree’s passions in perpetuity. If you are interested in establishing an endowment please contact mcclurecenter@uidaho.edu.

How do I mention University of Idaho in an obituary or recommend that gifts be made to U of I in lieu of flowers?

We suggest that you use text similar to this:

The family requests that memorial gifts be made in support of the (specific fund name or McClure Center) at University of Idaho. Checks made payable to U of I Foundation can be mailed to:

University of Idaho Foundation
