Jeff Tucker is the director of content at Idaho Public Television (IdahoPTV) and oversees communication, education, programming and co-manages the production department. He also manages independent and contract work, as well as content initiatives and other production relationships with state and private entities. Jeff manages Idaho in Session, IdahoPTV’s gavel to gavel coverage of the Idaho Legislature and has played a key role by forming strong relationships with Idaho Legislative Services, individual legislators, leadership and other state agencies. He also serves as executive producer for Idaho Experience, a new ongoing series at IdahoPTV.
He has served on several public media councils for production and management resources and is currently serving on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) Digital Media Advisory Council. The Council advocates for stations and collaborates with PBS to ensure that stations' digital needs are met.
Jeff is an Idaho native and graduated from the University of Idaho with a major in Broadcast Communications and minor in Business Management. He enjoys mountain biking, cross-country skiing and pretty much anything else the outdoors has to offer. He’s been married to a Bronco, who hails from Northern Idaho, for 28 years. This is proof of his accepting nature and sense of humor.
