Sell’s most recent role was senior director of Human Resources for Albertsons Companies, Inc. Prior to that, she was director of Human Resources and Employee Relations at St. Luke’s Regional Health System. Through these and other roles, she gained extensive experience building relationships, developing strong teams and designing programs that align with organizational goals.

“This role is deeply personal and professionally aligned with my passion for community building and strategic engagement,” Sell said. “I am excited to continue the legacy of strengthening alumni connections and elevate the Vandal spirit across generations.”

Sell is a 1989 graduate of U of I’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Her parents met while they were students at the university, and several other members of her family are also Vandals.

“We are thrilled to welcome Vicki Sell back to campus,” U of I President Scott Green said. “Her lifelong dedication to our university and demonstrated expertise in bringing people together will further elevate and connect our Vandal Family.”
