MOSCOW, Idaho — The Vandal community will come together Tuesday and Wednesday, April 7-8, for Vandal Giving Day 2026, a 1,889-minute celebration of generosity supporting students, faculty and programs across University of Idaho.

During the two-day event, alumni, students, employees, parents and friends are invited to make gifts to the areas of campus they care about most — from scholarships and colleges to student organizations and campus initiatives. Vandal Giving Day highlights the collective impact of Vandals working together to advance opportunities and strengthen the university.

“Vandal Giving Day is about the power of the Vandal family coming together,” said Marie Duncan, senior director of annual giving at U of I. “Every gift, no matter the size, helps provide meaningful opportunities for students and fuels innovation across campus.”

Throughout the event, donors can multiply their impact through a variety of challenges and matches created by alumni and supporters. These incentives unlock additional funds for programs once participation goals are met, helping drive engagement and expand the impact of every contribution.

Students and visitors on the Moscow campus can also participate in the Find Joe Vandal Challenge, where 10 Joe Vandals will be hidden across campus each day. Clues posted to @idahosarb on Instagram will help participants track them down, earning $100 for the fund of their choice when found.

Vandal Giving Day continues to grow each year as one of the university’s largest days of giving. The 2025 event raised more than $1.2 million to support scholarships, programs and student success initiatives.

Supporters can participate by making a gift, sharing the event on social media or signing up as a Vandal Giving Day ambassador to help spread the word.

Gifts can be made and event details are available at https://vandalsgive.uidaho.edu.
