MOSCOW, Idaho — Registration is open for Summer Design Days, a design workshop series hosted by University of Idaho’s College of Art and Architecture.
High school students from across the region are invited to explore a wide range of art, design and architecture disciplines through hands-on projects in workshops led by the college’s faculty members.
These in-person workshops will be Wednesday through Saturday, June 25-28, on U of I’s Moscow campus. The cost is $400 and includes instruction, lodging, meals and supplies. Students will attend four workshops and spend three nights in university housing.
“Summer Design Days is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring makers, creators and designers to explore the world of art and design with the guidance of our world-class faculty,” said Rebecca Senefsky, director of recruitment and retention for the College of Art and Architecture. “We’re excited to be able to offer this experience to students across the Gem State.”
Students can select workshops in a variety of disciplines, including apparel, textiles and design; architecture; art and design; interior architecture and design; landscape architecture; and virtual technology and design.
Registration closes Tuesday, June 10. To reserve a spot, visit uidaho.edu/design-days.
