Legends, rising stars take the stage at 2024 Summer Country Showdown

Clint Black, Yung Gravy to headline annual music festival

MOSCOW, Idaho — The Summer Country Showdown is back for its second year, bringing a powerhouse lineup of country music legends and rising stars to University of Idaho’s ICCU Arena in Moscow. Headlined by the iconic Clint Black and genre-blending sensation Yung Gravy, this year’s event is set for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 23-24. With performances by these headliners and other talented artists, the Showdown promises two nights of unforgettable music.

7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 23: The festival kicks off with the modern country sounds of breakout artist Tayler Holder, whose fresh approach to the genre has earned him a dedicated fan base. The excitement continues as the spotlight shifts to Yung Gravy, a rising star making waves in the country scene with his unique blend of originality and swagger. Known for his high-energy performances, Yung Gravy is set to deliver a show fans won’t soon forget.

6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24: The second night opens with country music’s newest sensation, Mackenzie Carpenter. With her dynamic style and powerful vocals, she is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Following Carpenter, the crowd will be treated to the classic country sounds of Craig Morgan, a beloved artist known for his boot-stomping hits. Closing out the festival is none other than country music legend Clint Black. A true country music traditionalist, Black’s performance will be a masterclass in the genre, leaving fans wanting more.
