MOSCOW, Idaho — Idaho Repertory Theatre (IRT), the professional summer theatre in residence at University of Idaho, presents the romantic drama “Constellations” by Nick Payne.

Starring U of I theatre professors Kelly Quinnett and Craig A. Miller, “Constellations” is a playful and profound play described by the New York Times as sexy, accessible and emotionally devastating. Former IRT artistic director, Jere Lee Hodgin, directs the 80-minute play.

Robert Caisley, producing director of IRT, said “Constellations” should capture the audience’s attention right from the start.

“Nick Payne’s thrilling and thoughtful romance opens with the provocative question: ’Do you know why it’s impossible to lick the tips of your elbows?’ Who wouldn’t want to stick around to find out why?” Caisley said.

The Forge Theatre at 404 Sweet Ave. in Moscow will house the show, and tickets cost $5-25 and are on sale now online. Shows are at:

  • 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 21
  • 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22
