Meadow voles and pocket gophers cause significant damage to rangeland, alfalfa, pastures and other agricultural crops in the Pacific Northwest. This publication helps you to manage the pesky varmints by discussing the biology and behaviors of both and by offering advice about proper baiting, trapping, fumigation, habitat modification (including crop-rotation strategies) and the latest on using rodenticides. Handy tables conveniently compile the various management options for both rodents and multiple photographs and illustrations depict the signs of vole/gopher activity and the useful management tools that just might finally help you rid your property of them.
