Owyhee County 4-H Events and Activity Scholarship
This scholarship fund comes primarily from the 4-H food booth at the Owyhee County Fair, and is available to Owyhee County 4-H members to attend 4-H events such as:
- Know Your Government (KYG) Conference
- Teen Conference
- 4-H Camp
- Other 4-H activities
The application (PDF) is due to the UI Extension, Owyhee County office at least two weeks prior to the event/activity.
College Scholarship Application
Please read through the application for specific instructions or call UI Extension, Owyhee County office with any questions.
- The application (PDF) is due to the UI Extension, Owyhee County office no later than April 15.
Taylor Sauer Owyhee County Fair Memorial Scholarship
Requirements:
- Must be a current year graduate
- Must have participated in a large animal livestock showing or judging in Owyhee County
- Must be a current member of a 4-H Livestock club or FFA and have taken a large animal project for at least three years
Please submit the following to the UI Extension, Owyhee County office by Aug. 1:
- Completed application (pdf)
- 1-page essay on “What showing my animal has taught me”
- Resume — include school activities and community service
- Letter of recommendation from a 4-H or FFA leader
