IDEA Conference

We invite you to the Idaho I.D.E.A. (Invest Develop Educate Advance) Conference

Presented by the University of Idaho

April 20-22, 2022

Get a feel for the culture and history of the university while participating in student-run tours, attending educational presentations, and discovering everything that can be offered to your students. You can even earn professional development credits while you’re here! Connect with other high school counselors from around the state to better help your students with their future.

Seminars and presentations include a wide variety of topics including:

  • General information about Idaho’s go-on rate.
  • How the university provides important services for thousands of students every year.
  • Why students should investigate attending our university.
  • How we can work together with you and other counselors from all around the state to help us better understand your students' needs and wants when it comes to furthering their education after high school.

Stipend Information

A limited number of stipends are available to help offset expenses to attend and vary based on travel distance:

  • North/North Central Idaho – up to $350
  • Magic Valley/Treasure Valley – up to $500
  • Eastern/Central Idaho – up to $700

If you are interested in a stipend for your school district, select “Yes” when prompted during registration.
