Large Format Printing

Need posters or large presentations? We print scientific posters, large images, and beautiful banners for hanging outdoors. We also offer mounting to foam core for projects to be displayed on easels or to be hung on a wall.

Large Format printing is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Completed prints or posters may be picked up on Saturdays when the Idaho Student Union Building Copy and Print Center is open. Located in the northeast corner of the Commons.

Large Format Color and Black Prints for Posters

• Ensure your image is at the intended size and saved as a PDF.
• Standard turnaround time: 24 hours or one business day
• Express rush printing (four business hours) is available for a fee of $5/foot
• Two widths of stock are available for large format full color printer: 36 inches and 42 inches
• Four types of stock:
  1. 24# bright white (36 inches)
  2. 46# Heavyweight coated paper (36 inches and 42 inches)
  3. Satin/semi-gloss paper (36 inches and 42 inches)
  4. Polyester outdoor banner fabric (36 inches and 42 inches)
• Heavyweight coated and satin paper stocks are suitable for lamination and mounting onto foam core
• Printable widths: 35.4 inches and 41.4 inches
• Ability to rotate images to best fit the media

Large Format Scanning

• Standard turnaround time: approximately four hours

Large Format Lamination and Mounting

• Standard turnaround time: 24 hours or one business day (in addition to printing time)
• Oversize laminator can accommodate posters up to 36 inches wide
• Gloss, matte and sticky-backed products offered
• Mounting packages offered from print to finished product, ready to display
• Paper stock from color printer, or heavy coated or satin stock recommended
• Other stock, such as the 24# paper, not recommended or guaranteed, as it may wrinkle

NOTE: We are not responsible for file inaccuracies or storage media errors. We cannot guarantee the quality of enlargement requests. We are responsible only for errors that occur during the imaging process. When laminating or working with products not produced by us, there is no guarantee of success, however, we make every effort to ensure satisfaction.
