The University of Idaho Creative Services team has created a suite of resources to help you support and apply the U of I brand to your classroom, business and marketing materials.
Through this site, you can download logo suites, business materials, templates, view fonts and generate your own email signature for Microsoft Outlook.
If you need help downloading these materials or have questions about creating templates specific to your area, please contact Senior Director of Marketing & Creative Services John Barnhart.
Tips and Best Practices
These templates and resources were created to give you the flexibility to create your own materials without additional graphic design expense. All the templates within this toolkit adhere to U of I’s brand standards and should not be modified. Modifying fonts or colors is not permitted.
These templates were created to be accessible to our campus community without the need for additional software. Many are created as Microsoft products, but select templates are also available for the Adobe Creative Suite.
On InDesign files, guide marks are placed on the document as a tool to help you. They will not print.
A bleed refers to how text or images that extend past where the piece of paper prints or will be trimmed. Areas past a bleed will be trimmed off. InDesign files are created with a bleed to allow for a clean, professional look where an image goes to the edge of the paper. Word files are created with no bleed and use the typical margins.
A suite of approved institutional logomarks is available for download. These images are not available for editing, and not every department or program qualifies for its own logo. If you believe your program needs its own logomark, please contact email@example.com.
If you have existing materials available, there is no need to purchase new ones. You can update to the new brand materials when you next need to order. However, digital materials — such as logomarks and email templates — should be updated as soon as possible.
