Window into the human experience
Whether you dream of being on stage or working behind the scenes, this program will help you grow your creative talents, technical skills and performance experience for a future in professional theater.
As a theater arts major, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of acting, scenic, costume and lighting design, play analysis, theater technology and playwriting. You’ll learn how to create and produce live theater, both as an individual artist and as part of a collaborative production team. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of theater — from performance and design to management and production — with opportunities to perform and work on both student-led and community productions.
