Whether you dream of being on stage or working behind the scenes, the B.A. in theatre arts program will help you gain hands-on performance and technical skills for a career in professional theatre.
As a theatre arts major, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of performance, scenic, costume and lighting design, play analysis, theatre technology, directing and playwriting. You’ll learn how to create live theatre, both as an individual artist and as part of a collaborative production team. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of theatre — from performance and design to management and production — with opportunities to work on department productions.

Application information
Undergraduate applications open each September and admissions are processed on a rolling basis. Qualified students are admitted and considered for scholarships and financial aid as applications are received. The B.A. degree does not require an audition or interview for admission.
