The restoration ecology and habitat management (REHM) option of the Master of Natural Resources prepares you for careers across the globe where a deep understanding of ecological theory and practice is needed to restore and manage working forests and rangelands, conserved wildlands and wildlife habitats.
The REHM curriculum is designed to give you the tools to employ conservation principles to a variety of restoration challenges, including restoration and remediation of aquatic, terrestrial and even atmospheric (air quality) environments. Our courses and faculty represent a wide breadth of knowledge and on-the-ground experience in fire, wildlife and fisheries, rangeland, environmental and forest ecology and policy.
The REHM option of the MNR also challenges you to grow your skills in advanced science interpretation and communication across all classes. Successful restoration and habitat management requires working with people, and we prepare you to lead your fellow professionals and peers to successfully conserve and manage our cherished natural resources.

- 30 semester credits, non-thesis program designed for working professionals
