University of Idaho's Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, ecological restoration option prepares you to study, restore and manage natural systems through an interdisciplinary foundation in environmental science. You'll explore ecology, hydrology, soils, climate science and geospatial technologies while developing the technical and analytical skills needed to assess environmental conditions and design restoration solutions.
Learning extends beyond the classroom through fieldwork, research projects and applied experiences in diverse ecosystems throughout Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. You'll work alongside University of Idaho faculty studying some of the most pressing environmental challenges facing forests, rivers, wetlands, rangelands and other natural systems.
Whether you plan to pursue environmental consulting, ecosystem restoration, conservation, remediation, natural resource management or graduate study, you'll graduate prepared to help restore and sustain healthy environments.
