U of I and Chobani Announce Major Gift for Idaho Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (CAFE)

MOSCOW, Idaho – May 6, 2022

WHAT: University of Idaho and Chobani leaders will announce a gift for the Idaho Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (Idaho CAFE), the nation’s largest research dairy, to be located in nearby Minidoka County. The announcement will include media availability at the conclusion of the presentation.

Idaho CAFE brings together several different groups, including universities, government agencies and the private sector. Led by U of I, the 2,000-cow research dairy and 640-acre demonstration farm will focus on research, outreach and education to advance the sustainability of dairy, livestock and crop production, and food processing in Idaho.

Light refreshments will be provided.

WHEN: Noon to 1 p.m. Mountain time, Wednesday, May 11

WHERE: Chobani Innovation Center Lobby, 3450 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls
