The McClure Center provides rigorous, life-changing, applied learning experiences for aspiring leaders in high school and undergraduate, graduate, law and doctoral students.

Undergraduate Students 
The McClure Center partners with University of Idaho departments, programs and colleges to offer undergraduates opportunities that cultivate their talents, foster their interests and give them first-hand experience in the public policy realm.

Graduate and Professional Students 
The McClure Center provides unique experiences for graduate and professional students to build on to their growing expertise by engaging in policy-related research. McClure Center provides opportunities that result in publications, presentations, dissertation chapters, pro bono work, law review articles and more.

Tod Neuenschwander Communications Scholars 
The Tod Neuenschwander Communications Endowment is designed to provide undergraduate University of Idaho students the unique opportunity to connect public policy and communications in Boise and other locations, such as Washington, D.C.

This prestigious scholarship honors Tod Neuenschwander, who was a superb communicator, serving Senator James A. McClure for over 30 years in the U.S. Senate, and as a business partner in Washington D.C. through the 1990s. Tod worked in radio and television and evolved into an accomplished professional political strategist. He combined his friendly demeanor, keen intelligence and high integrity to effectively communicate the essence of detailed, technical and politically challenging major public policy issues.
