NIATT’s mission is to develop engineering solutions (knowledge and technology) for transportation problems in the state of Idaho, the Pacific Northwest, and the United States while preparing our students to be leaders in the design, deployment, and operation of our nation’s complex transportation systems.

NIATT conducts research across all transportation disciplines and seeks out opportunities to cultivate multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional partnerships.
