Loretta Mabinton - Associate General Counsel, Portland General Electric
Loretta Mabinton is the managing attorney of Portland General Electric’s (PGE) regulatory practice group with oversight of five senior lawyers who work in state and federal regulation and environmental law. She joined PGE in 2001 and supported the power supply operations, new resource acquisition and strategy, and hydro relicensing and operations groups. Previous experience includes transactional work at Covington & Burling, in Washington, D.C., and nearly 12 years with Unocal (now part of Chevron) doing energy generation related work primarily in geothermal and refinery cogeneration. Loretta attended law school in Nigeria, and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. She obtained an LLM from Harvard Law School in 1986, and she is admitted to practice law in Oregon and California.
Loretta attended the Utility Executive Course in 2011.
