Scholars LLC

The Scholars Living Learning Community (LLC) is a dedicated living space for upperclassmen (students with at least sophomore status) in the Honors Program.

Scholars residents live and learn together — sharing many of the same classes, forming study groups, attending events and building lifelong friendships.

This hall serves as an independent living community while maintaining social connections and allowing residents to remain academically focused. We strongly encourage all upper-level honors students to consider living in the Scholars LLC. The LLCs combine the best qualities of academic and social living environments — providing private study rooms, lounge spaces, community kitchens and game rooms.

The LLCs offer single and double room options within gender specific suites. Each LLC floor plan varies in size and room set-up.  The suites hold anywhere from 2 to 5 students. Each suite includes a furnished living room, a restroom and a kitchenette space. Each room includes a twin bed, closet, desk, bookshelf, chair and set of drawers.

Amenities include free laundry, free high-speed internet and a free full fridge and microwave in every suite.

For more information, photos, floor plans and to apply, see Housing & Residence Life.

“Scholars is nice in that you're close to everyone and everything that makes the university great.”

“One of my favorite memories living in Scholars was coming back from class one day and finding that a group of people had built a fort in the lounge. Something interesting was always happening and it was easy to make friends.”
