New Employee Required Training
Beginning in 2015, the completion of the following online training was made a requirement for all regular faculty and staff, temporary faculty and staff, and student employees (including graduate students) with appointments lasting longer than 3 months. New employees will receive an email with login instructions to complete the training upon hire.
An employee is defined as “anyone receiving compensation for work performed including temporary employees and work study students.”
New Employee Required Training course run-time is less than 2 hours and includes the following learning modules:
- Creating a Respectful Community (20 minutes)
- Diversity & Inclusion at the University of Idaho (20 minutes)
- Fire Safety in the Workplace (20 minutes)
- IT Security Awareness (approx. 25 minutes)
