Required Employee Training
All regular faculty and staff, temporary faculty and staff, and student employees (including grad students) with appointments lasting longer than three months must complete training by no later than Friday, December 7, 2018. Employees who do not complete the required training by the deadline will be ineligible for any available FY20 annual salary adjustment.
2018 topics include discrimination and harassment (including sexual misconduct) and IT Security. Our goal is to enhance understanding of acceptable and unacceptable behavior and share information on policies, procedures and available resources.
Training will be delivered via BbLearn, the U of I online course management system, and overseen by Employee Development and Learning on behalf of the Office of Civil Rights and Investigations and Information Technology Services.
NOTE: All regular faculty and staff, temporary faculty and staff, and student employees (including graduate students) with appointments lasting longer than 3 months are required to complete additional training at the time of initial employment. Some positions may have additional, job-related training requirements.
New employees and new supervisors must complete all assigned required training within 30 days of their employment start date or their start date with new responsibilities.
