Tucker Brauer
A native to southern Idaho, I began working as a creel technician with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) while in high school. It was here that I decided to pursue a career in the fisheries field. I received my B.S. in Fisheries Resources from the University of Idaho as well as an A.S. in Aquaculture from the College of Southern Idaho. Throughout my educational career, I have held various seasonal positions with IDFG as well as the Idaho Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. My thesis research investigates the seasonal movement, population dynamics, and demographics of invasive burbot in the upper Green River of Wyoming. My research interests focus on applied fisheries management and ecology. I am particularly interested in invasive fish species and the methods used in their management.
