Summer Semester 2019

The University of Idaho Confucius Institute strives to be the top Chinese language and culture resource in the Treasure Valley. Our Confucius Institute has been offering affordable, high-quality language and culture instruction in Boise since January 2016.

We offer three 12-week trimesters throughout the year (Spring, Summer, Fall). We also have many short term courses. All courses are taught by qualified visiting Chinese instructors who teach in Idaho for 1-3 years at a time. We offer five levels of Mandarin every trimester and we rotate through a number of Chinese culture courses (QiGong, Tai Chi, calligraphy, film) and other language courses like Chinese for Tourists, Fun with Chinese (our youth-friendly Chinese class), Golden Age Chinese (for learners 55+) and more.
