Vandal undergraduates lead their own learning through research. During the 2021-22 school year, students tackled research projects across all areas of study, ranging from the protection of bees to the affordable housing crisis. From deep soil health to 3D-printed walls. Working with U of I faculty, two-thirds of undergraduates at University of Idaho volunteer for out-of-class research, scholarly work and creative activities. The stories from Vandals in Focus 2022 provide a glimpse of the research experiences available to our undergraduates.
