Vandal Alert is University of Idaho's emergency notification system, and it is used to contact the U of I community in the event of an emergency. It is the quickest way to receive immediate, emergency information such as weather closures or delays and unexpected safety issues.
- Registering for Vandal Alert is an important "To Do" task for all faculty, staff and students and can be done on VandalWeb in minutes. Click here for sign up instructions.
- It is highly recommended that you register your mobile phone to receive Vandal Alerts via text message. You may also receive alerts by email or landline phone.
- Please keep your U of I personal information updated at all times in VandalWeb to receive Vandal Alerts.
