Graduate Writing Assistance

Assistance is available to help graduate students through the writing process. Graduate students of all backgrounds and disciplines are welcome. These services are free to UI graduate students.

Consultation sessions are collaborative and intended to help you build writing skills and confidence. You have the opportunity to meet in person to discuss your writing and to receive a copy of your draft with comments and recommendations for revision. You're also welcome to email your work directly to the consultant for feedback.

Feel free to stop by the Writing Center or email for more information about the services offered. For spring semester 2016, graduate writing assistance will be available at the following times:

Monday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thursday 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
