Inspire Idaho
Inspire Idaho is an award-winning educational initiative providing free, future-ready skills development for Idaho residents who want to participate in the rapidly growing app economy. The program was created by the University of Idaho Coeur d’Alene along with industry partners committed to supporting the regional tech economy.
Through Inspire Idaho, participants join local teams and mentors in a self-paced yet structured year learning Apple Inc's Everyone Can Code curriculum. Computers are made available through the university's MacBook Lending Library.
Inspire Idaho received the 2019 Award of Excellence from the University Economic Development Association. U of I Coeur d'Alene was recognized in the Talent category for bringing innovative solutions and experiential ideas in support of lifelong learning.
As the land-grant university with extension offices in 42 counties, the U of I brings a broad range of educational opportunities to individuals across the state. Inspire Idaho supports new pathways to prosperity by providing access to the skills necessary to create a talent pipeline for local, regional and statewide industry partners.
