July 7, 2020 Update: As you are aware, Ada County and many other areas are experiencing spikes in COVID-19 cases. Watching cases across our state and region increase is disheartening. It is difficult to see our colleagues facing the many challenges this virus brings. It is also hard to make the tough decisions that come from such a spike.

The University of Idaho’s Spring 2020 Commencement ceremonies have been canceled statewide because of concerns about the spread of COVID-19.
Students who have applied to graduate through the Registrar’s Office will still receive their diploma in a timely way.
Celebrating our graduates is one of the university's most important traditions. All spring graduates are invited to celebrate at an enhanced ceremony in Moscow this December. Walking in the May 2021 commencement is also an option.
We understand this is disappointing, but the safety and health of the Vandal Family is our top priority. Plans to recognize the Class of 2020 this spring in another way are still taking shape.
