About the College of Law
The University of Idaho College of Law is among the best small state public law schools in the U.S. Recognized by "preLaw Magazine" as a Best Value law school, we emphasize quality over quantity. With an average enrollment of about 300 students, we guarantee the personal attention each student deserves.
Moscow is our main campus. All students complete their first year of study there, on a campus with a communal personality and faculty who care about student success. We deliver a focused, high-quality curriculum to students completing their Juris Doctor degree. After the first year, students have the option of completing their second and third years in Boise or staying in Moscow. We feel the option increases the efforts to broaden and deepen the Juris Doctor curriculum with emphases correlated to the interdisciplinary assets of Moscow’s rural campus and Boise’s commercial and governmental opportunities. Each of these communities presents a distinct array of venues for learning, professional development and recreation.
