From homeschooling to advanced research at the University of Idaho
Joey Perko’s journey is impressive. As a physics major at U of I, he’s been exploring malaria parasites, gaining new insights into infectious diseases and paving the way for future breakthroughs. And with the help of referrals from his research professors, Perko landed an internship last summer at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington.
