TITUS YEAROUT

Business Economics, Class of 2026

Hometown: Lapwai, Idaho

My first year at the University of Idaho was a great experience. I built close connections with my professors and met many new friends and fellow Vandals, all while learning about time management and how to be successful. This new school year brings a lot of individual and team goals, like winning the Big Sky Tournament, building a strong team bond and staying on top of my classes.

Putting on the Vandal jersey means being a part of something that's bigger than yourself. You're playing for your community and for Idaho. Being from Idaho, that's really important to me. Athletics has brought a deeper meaning to everything I do. It's taught me life lessons that carry on after sports.

As a Nez Perce descendant, I am involved with our community and Tribe, including through the U of I Native American Student Center. This past year, I assisted with the annual Tutxinmepu Powwow, helping with setup and volunteering at one of the booths. I had a great time being immersed in the culture of this amazing event.

My plan for the future is to graduate with a degree in business economics. One possible path after that is to continue my basketball career as a professional. However, I also want to start a property rental business and enter real estate.

I am so thankful to the donors and grateful for the opportunity to advance my education, open doors for future endeavors and be an Idaho Vandal.

Earning the U of I Athletic Scholarship has been a dream come true. Without this support, college may not have been possible for me. I am so thankful to the donors and grateful for the opportunity to advance my education, open doors for future endeavors and be an Idaho Vandal.

Thank you!

Be Unstoppable.
