Volunteer Opportunity at McCall Outdoor Science School Sept. 24-26

MCCALL, Idaho – A weekend of volunteer service at the University of Idaho McCall Field Campus is open to the public Sept. 24-26.

Volunteers will help prepare the field campus for winter operation. Projects include painting, chinking, trail building, weather stripping and cutting firewood.

Vans will leave the University of Idaho’s Moscow campus at 1 and 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, and return by 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. People arriving at the McCall Field Campus from other locations on Friday should meet in the dining hall at 7 p.m. for dinner.

The event is free to University of Idaho students. Suggested contribution from alumni, faculty, staff, emeritus and community members is $77 to cover two nights’ lodging, dinner Friday, three meals on Saturday and Sunday breakfast.

Room rental is available at the facility for families of up to six people for $60 per night plus $32 per person for meals served during the event.
