Lecture: Rafael Coicue

Rafael Coicue from ACIN--the Association of Indigenous Authorities of Northern Cauca, Colombia--will speak about the effects and failure of aerial fumigations and the drug war in Colombia, the popular resistance to the US-Colombia Free Trade Agreement and indigenous rights, particularly in regards to natural resources and land rights. He will speak Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., in TLC 032. His talk is free and open to the public.
